speaking out against violence against women on transit and everywhere else

standing up; giving my voice to change; actively listening; supporting; respecting. By guiding my children. By example. By Love.

Showing it’s ok to be open and compassionate, caring and expressive. And help change attitudes that can lead to violence against women.

teaching my daughter to stand up for herself.

creating awareness amongst our staff and volunteers

challenging negative female stereotypes.

recognizing and being accountable for my own privilege as a man and supporting causes that empower women and other marginalized groups.

supporting the young men I work with to be non-violent verbally, physically and emotionally.

being an example to my grandchildren that actions speak louder than words

Help continue the momentum to end violence against women by inviting us to facilitate a MANifest Change Workshop at your school or community organization. Designed for young men aged 13-18, together we learn how to recognize violence against women when we see it, and practice how to respond safely.
